Leah's 28th Birthday

I am writing respectfully to praise my best friend, my wife. Leah is a fireball that has no fuse. She has been my best friend for a little over two years now and I can't imagine what I would be without her. We celebrated her b-Day at Wally World and ate B-Day dinner at the Blue Bayou. We had water front seating that was well worth the wait, and the fight to divert Leah's parents from the preferred seating. Zoe was perfectly behaved while we ate like the rich. This is something that we are so blessed to do, to eat like the rich. Leah had salmon, it was probably farmed, and I had NY Strip it was amazingly farmed so its all good. The atmosphere was unique and exciting, Disneyland has such a special place for us we enjoy so many good memories there and hope to have many more spent with even more children to help add to the excitement that is Disneyland. Zoe was so precious as she experienced her first ride on Buzz lightyear's fearless attack on Zurg Intergalactic enemy #1. The day was fun filled and we all were able to come together and enjoy spending time with Leah who means so very much to all of us. As for me she is my world and everything she does still drives me crazy in Love with her. Really I feel like we've only just begun. Here's to you Leah!

"Little Miss Sunshine"

This is our Little Miss Sunshine. She is starting to smile a lot more, especially when her Daddy sings to her. Boy does she love her Dad. I will be very surprised if
Zoë doesn't love to sing when she gets older. I hope she sings a lot and fills this home with music.

Discovery # 4

Discovery # 3

Zoë has discovered her hands, or should I say her tongue has discovered her hands. She just loves it and is infatuated with it, so much in fact that her chin and lips are beining to chap.

Discovery # 2

She has discovered her TOYS. She grabs them and will put them in her mouth. The best part is that she laughs while she plays with them. She is becoming more human, I know that sounds weird. What I mean by that is that she is becoming more lively. We just love watching her grow.

Discovery # 1

I should have started this a lot sooner. Better late than never, right. Zoë is at a point in her growing that each week she is discovering something new with herself or the outside world. I am going to record them each time they occur. I thought it would be fun for posterity sake. This week she has found her hands. For a long time her hands would be in these tight fists. She has now learned where the other hand is and plays a lot with them. Sometimes she will sit while clasping them together as though she is getting ready to pray. We call it her reverence hands.

Tummy Time versus the back position

We have been starting to get Zoë on a schedule with "tummy time" At first she hated it. Now she is warming up to it, although there are moments of frustration. You know it because she squeals. Here is a little peak of her tummy time. She definitely prefers her back more than her belly

Delicious Autumn

"My very soul is wedded to it, and if I were a bird I would fly about the earth
seeking the successive autumns." Yesterday Tyler and I went to do some early Christmas shopping. We happened to stumble across the most beautiful thing ever. Air fresheners for cars. This was no ordinary air freshener, this was a Yankee Candle Air Freshener. For any of you who have had Yankee candles in your home they smell your home with wonderful goodness. We bought pumpkin spice. Now our car smells like "Delicious Autumn" I am getting eager for the fun seasons to come, the seasons that usually go by to quick for me. The seasons where I get to where my coats, mittens, scarfs, and hats. Not to mention the fact that Starbucks has the best Pumpkin Steamer drink ever, which I have to try to figure out how to make or else we may go into debt for them. I am especially excited for this year's upcoming holiday's. Zoë's first Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Oh we cant wait.

Speaking of first holiday's. Zoe is gearing up for Halloween. She is my cute little pumpkin. This in not her Halloween costume. It is actually a surprise, so you will have to wait for up coming posts. All I have to say is that it is going to be awesome.

Zoë meets Disneyland

California Adventure Park
Zoë's first time in her Baby Bjorn

Zoë and her dad before they enter into the park

For all those who know me know that I have been waiting for this special day when Tyler and I would take Zoë to meet Disneyland. I know I act as though she's meeting the president. Tyler and I love Disneyland but now we really love Disneyland. She is at the age where lights, sounds, and shapes are intriging. It was almost more fun to watch her enjoy everything than to actually be there. Once she turns 6 months I am taking her every week. I decided that I am going take full advantage of the week day daytime schedule, which means No lines or CROWDS. Just Zoë and I.

Weekend of Family and Fun

This weekend was full of activity and fun. It started with Zoë Tyler and I going to Claremont to have lunch with Gramsie Lynn, Courtney, and Alicia at Aladdin Jr's. After a yummy lunch of mediteranian food we rushed home to get Zoë all bundled up for Disneyland. That consisted of corn dogs, preztels, and kiddie rides oh and of course ice cream cones. Saturday rolled around and it was dinner at North Woods Inn, another delicious meal with the family. Sunday was a birthday party for Courtney, again more awesome food and fun. My most favorite thing in the world is spending time with my family. What a great way to spend a weekend.
