We have come to an end

This is all the seminary class on our last day of Seminary eating a yummy breakfast that some of the boys cooked up. Yep it's official, seminary is over. It was a fun time for us. Wow what an experience to teach a bunch of high school kids at an early hour in the morning. We had a bunch of neat kids this year. We will miss each of them and the funny things they had to say that made us laugh. As much as we will feel an empty void in the mornings we definately welcome back our sleep.

Validating Bailey

This is our dog Bailey and we love him so much, but Bailey is suffering from this pregnancy. He has been more needy, more loving, and more obnoxious. My friend Cori Ann who worked in a vet's office told me that dogs can sense when things are just not right, especially pregnancy and warned me that Bailey would act out in many ways some good and some bad. We have to admitt there definately has been more attention to this pregnancy and less on Bailey. We thought since Zoe is getting all these toys and clothes that we should buy Bailey some new stuff. This is Baileys new toy that he carries around the house like so.

Baby Shower gifts

Tyler's sweet employees at his work threw him a baby shower last week. We got super cute stuff from everyone, but there was one gift that seemed worthy to blog because there is a fun story behind it. Kathy and her son Jack got Zoe little Van shoes. The next week on Memorial day Tyler caved in and decided to get himself a pair of new shoes, since his old ones were looking pretty worn out. We went to Old Town Pasadena to the Vans store and after 35 mins of looking he bought his pair of Vans. We get home and because I am nesting like crazy and feel the need to sort through Zoe's clothes every single day I discovered that the pair of shoes that Tyler bought for himself are the same exact pair of vans that Zoe has. Same color and style. Like father , like daughter right. I'm feeling a little left out now so in the future look for three pair of shoes that are exactly the same.

Zoe's first gift from her father

Yep were "Nesting". It's official we've caught the nesting bug. This is Zoe's first gift from her father. It's a cute beach dress that we got on the Dana Point Pier. You gotta love Tommy Bahama clothes especially when it's clothes for little girls. My uncle Erik has always been a huge fan and faithfully wears this brand, but I think we have jumped on the band wagon of Tommy Bahama lovers. It's only appropriate that Tyler picked this out for her. For those who know Tyler would agree. We love little beach sundresses!

7.5 Months Pregnant

Finally I look pregnant. It just one day popped out. This is me at every angle. I have 6 weeks left till Zoe's big day. I hope this satisfies all my family and friends who have been begging me to post pregnant pictures.

So apparently I am not computer savy and I posted these completely backwards. So if you want to read these in order you have to start with the Irwindale post.

6 Months Pregnant

End of 6 months I had a little belly, although I felt more bloated than pregnant. Believe it or not I started feeling her kick at 4 and a half months and at this point in the pregnancy her kicks were very strong.

This was an exciting month not only because I was feeling Zoe a lot more but also because my brother Erik and his sweet wife Angela and their adorable little boy Conner came to visit. What a fun time it was. The saturday before they left the whole entire family came to visit Erik, Angela, and Conner, that would be the picture right above .

5 Months Pregnant

February 5 months into the pregnancy and I was still not showing. Good for me I didn't have to buy maternity clothes for a very long time. This is Tyler and my parents on Valentines day. We made for our spouses decorated heart cookies while we waited for Angela, Erik and Conner. Just to let you know if you want to eat the cookies after your done decorating them then dont go and buy store bought cookies. Sorry Lynn I let you down. If anyone has met my mother in law or eaten her food you would never do what I did especially when she has given you tons of reciept to make edible cookies. Next valentines.

4 months pregnant

Not a very good photo , but I have to be honest I wasn't very good at recording my every months pregnancy growth. This is at 4 months pregnant, still not showing.
This is Tyler and I ate Big Bear, walking through the Big Bear Village where all the cute shops and tourist come. Thanks to the Dunham Family Tyler and I have a nice get away cabin to visit whenever we feel the need to get out of the city and enjoy the mountains and the lake. How interesting it will be that Tyler and I will be taking Zoe up here often during the winter for the famous ski resort and in the summer for the lake activities, all these things that I did as a child growing up. Really Thanks to Grandma Shirley and Grandpa Cliff who envisioned this for future generations. Just wish they were around to see that there cabin is being used as they had wished. Zoe will be the first Great Great grandchild to enjoy the Dunham Family tradition.

3rd Month of Pregnancy

I dont have the 2nd month picture since I was sick but by the third month I was back on my feet and this is the only photos I have for the 3rd month. Still not much in the growth of my stomach.
The people in the first photo are of our dear friends the De Los Rios family. Jose and Helen are the ones on the left of us in the pic. Jose is the hip one and Helen the adorable curly haired scottish girl, they are some of the best people you will ever meet. We just wish they lived a lot closer. Although we have to say that it is pretty cool to have friends that live in England London. Maybe someday Tyler and I will become Jet Setters not for business purposes but purely for pleasure to see them. To Jose and Helen we have decided that Tyler's graduation gift from Cal Poly will be a trip to England to see you guys. The few times that they do come to the USA we are just so grateful to see them. We look forward to seeing you guys in August. We love you guys.
The second photo is of Tyler and I ate the Los Angeles Temple attending Drew and Alicia's wedding. What a beautiful day that was. We are grateful to have a new addition to the Family. We hope you two enjoy each moment together. We love you guys very much.

Irwindale Speedway and First Month of Pregnancy

For those who dont know my dad's favorite hobby is racing cars, especially Richard Pettys old racing car. He races every 2 years and really looks forward to it. I would be confident in saying that his third love in life is his Shelby GT 350. In October 07 He had a once in a life time opportunity to race a car other than his Shelby, even better Richard Petty's car. Needless to say it was the coolest experience ever, and I got to share it with him.

I know this happened back in October of last year so it seems like I am blogging backwards but there is a reason to this chaos. I have been getting many requests from friends and family out of state who want to know of my growth progress {my belly} with the pregnancy. So please bare with me as the next few pictures will be strictly of me and will portray me as a narcisist. So this picture shows me at One month pregnant, infact Tyler and I knew but no one else did at this point.

Tyler and I with our good buddies Tara and Colton went to see an independant film called, "Young At Heart". It is a documentary of a group of feisty old folks in Massachuttes who join in a chorus singing songs that play against their type, such as The Ramones, The Clash, and Cold Play. It was an unbelievably moving film that we recommend to those who want to laugh, cry, and appreciate our young at heart.

Check out the you tube videos of this upcoming hip band on the right side of the blog. These are only a few of their funniest song performances.

Pay Day

Pay day came!!!! Tyler's first purchase since we've been married, J/K. Doesn't take much to make Tyler happy. We call him Snork. This just might be Zoe's first toy. Oh boy. Is That a Llama in the back yard?

Tyler's summer adventure

I came home from running errands today and looked out the window to find my husband in Baileys pool. Tyler thought it would be fun to wash two cars, forgetting that it was almost 100 degrees outside. This resulted in Tyler's first summer adventure. Someday honey will get you a bigger pool. Bailey our dog decided to join in the fun, but used Tyler's body as an island so he wouldn't get wet. Tyler gets more use out of it then Bailey who we bought the pool for. Look at my boys there so cute.

Today Tyler and I had our 6th doctors appointment. Not every appointment we recieve an ultrasound, but today was an ultrasound day, yeah!! and we got to see our little Zoe. Boy has she grown. The doctor said that she is a well proportioned baby with quite some length to her. She definately does not get that tall gene from me. She weighed in at 3 and 3/4 pounds. She is not too fat nor too skinny. Our doctor was pleased at her progression. I am definately feeling her a lot more. I am betting on her being a dancer, or a gymnist, or a soccer player anything that requires leg coordination and strength. Her kicks are very strong and lots of fun to feel. They are getting me more anxious for her arrival. I realized the other night that this is the first person in my entire life that will actually be related to me by blood. This adds a whole new exciting element to my life. We are loving this stage in life and feel so blessed.

Happy Mothers Day, you Mom's out there. The Monday before Mothers day Tyler came home with this beautiful arrangement of flowers. I asked him why so early, he insisted on celebrating Mother day for a week. No complaints here. The fragrance was amazing and lasted forever in fact they are still going strong. Thanks Tyler my love for the nice week of Mothers Day filled with flowers, breakfasts in bed and massages.

This had to be all of ours' favorite show. Where else can you get crawled all over by bugs, sprayed by acid by the termite, attacked by black widows, fumagated with a horrible stinch by the stink bug, and last but not least leave feeling clean and happy. That's Disney and all of it's magic for ya right at your fingertips for all of us annual pass holders. California residence it's worth investing in.

This is where all the bad kids go when there misbehaving at Disneyland. What were those Corys doing that was so naughty? Guess you'll never know, but I will say this. Colton later that day dicovered some weird abnormal rock like bump in his arm and Tara almost got ran over by a 70 year old women in a wheel chair.

This is Tyler's favorite show. I dont know what it is about the muppits, but Tyler becomes a little kid. It's really cute watching him. If you ever want to make him happy sit him in front of a tv and put in "The muppits in Space" with a ginger brew. I think Zoe is destined to be a muppits lover. Like father like daughter right.

How else do they earn their meals. This was a section of the island that was hands on. Our men attempted to drain the water from an old abandoned ship, where we found gold and treasure. Unfortunately the minute they stopped pumping the water it filled within seconds. It's ok we still love them and they still got a fabulous dinner that night.

They are so cute. We just love the Corrys.

For all of us old timers we shall all miss the legendary Tom Sawyers Island, the adventures of Tom and Huck Finn. The mystery of Engine Joe and the squirly Miss Becky Thatcher. As sad as it was to say good bye we have easily excepted into our hearts the new and improved Island now known as the Pirates lair. We look forward to taking our kids here someday.

Could he be our next King Arthur? Where still waiting, and waiting, and waiting. This may take awhile.
